Looking at my vision board which was made in January 2016,
I can check my first book off the list. Sometimes there are people who come into your life as “Midwives” to push the greatness out of you. Sometimes without a midwife you will abort the dream, or silence the desire to make it happen.
Along your journey you will come across many people who have an assignment which is to take you to your next level. Be ready when it happens and the midwife shows up because they are there to push your next level to the fore front. Nothing is by accident, it’s all part of the plan and all part of the chapters of your life.
My first book can be purchased on Amazon.com. Thanks for following and liking our page as we continue on our journey of art and creative inspired lessons.

There are times when change is necessary in order to continue on your life purpose journey. There are times when we all come to that fork in the road where a decision must be made to change directions, reset and continue moving forward.
When this type of reset happens, there are people who you will leave behind because they have gone as far as they can come on your life journey. That’s not to say your paths will not cross again at some point in time but for now you must continue on without them.
Every moment of life is precious and every moment is special because once that moment is gone it becomes apart of your stories past. Notice when you start a new chapter in your life, notice the changes that happen. You move to another city, change employment, people transition to the unseen, babies are born, you finish school, you get married or divorced all these time lines in our life causes us to stop, breath and then rest in order to keep moving toward our goal and purpose in life.
Artist freeze time in photography, drawing, paintings and sculptures. For that moment it is frozen on canvas, digital photography, or a drawing but it is only frozen for us because time keeps moving forward.

Many times as artist we get to the place where we feel stuck and it is at that place of being stuck you start to question whether or not you should even be doing this thing called art as a career or a hobby.
Its doing these lean times of temporary despair that we have to step back and reevaluate what we are doing. Being an artist is not an easy path because it is a creative journey you are on instead of a career path.
Yes you want to make money at this but the real reason you are doing it is for the creative energy it gives you. Your doing it for the love of being able to be creative and also make a profit from it.
There are a lot of artist of all kinds, the arena is full of creative souls trying to find where they fit into this arena of creative oceans. You paint, draw, take photography, create computer art, performance art, and yet you still wonder where you fit into this ocean of art.
The only thing I can tell you is to keep creating and you will find your place. Remember your art is the journey of your soul as it keeps expanding to greater heights alone the way.

Tonight we went to the Winter Fest Tree Lighting Festival. This is the reality that Christmas is just around the corner and 2015 is almost out the door. Where did the year go.
We stayed long enough for the tree lighting and then left because it was cold. They even brought snow in for those who wanted to snow board.
Santa and Mrs Claus were there walking around greeting everyone, they had a group there called Heart and Soul line dancing who performed, there was a choir there singing Christmas Carols, and plenty of food.
All in all it was a good community event.

I started playing with some of my old pieces by blending them with some new software I have. I remember doing this once before with my watercolors where I took some watercolor paintings and reworked them in Illustrator which made some beautiful digital art.
The top one is a Collage 18 X 24 , I used pastels, cut out some pictures from magazines and then scanned this into my software to make this beautiful new piece of Man’s Confusion.
The bottom piece is a piece I had done for the Small Art Series Gallery, The Bell Peppers are 8 X 10 Oil on Canvas, scanned into the computer to make this collage type Digital Art piece.
I really like the way they both turned out and it goes to show you can re-create any piece of art making it tell a different story.
Let me know what you think about these two creations……..be sure to follow us, like our page and leave comments (we really do read them)
One of the most beautiful things about a road trip some where is the scenery you see along the way. We went to the Lemon Lily Festival this weekend in Idylwild, California at an Environmental Conservation The Lemon Lily is like many of our animals, it is a threatened native Lily. This place is doing everything to educate the public about this beautiful plant.
Don’t depend on your GPS for directions all the time because sometimes it will take you the back roads to a location. We were at about 4,000 feet in these photos and still had about an hour left before we arrived.
One thing about being this elevation you can see the whole city beneath you. It was a good day all in all. Since I am not fond of heights I’m not getting too close to the edge to take a photo.
