Well if you’re seeing this we have made it to the halfway mark of 2018. So my question is “how is your year looking so far”. We have had plenty of eventful things happen since January some good, some fair and some downright discouraging. Yet we have made it to the mid-year.
Now that we have all come to this point how are we going to finish out the next six months? It is clear that we are not allowing the distractions, and detours stop us from moving forward.
So take a moment and breath in this next six months of your journey, and know that you are on the right path even with all the detours. It’s a journey, not a destination, continue to move forward one paint brush, one camera shot, one dance, on a completed book at a time because the world is waiting for us and our gifts.
Thank you so much for all who have followed me from day one on this journey, thank you for liking and sharing the post, for coming to the broadcast, and just for being a support factor alone the way.

Yesterday I woke up feeling OK but as the day progressed I came to realize how we as humans are programmed and mentally conditioned for these holidays. Even if you chose not to be involved there will always be someone who will wish you a “Happy” what ever the holiday is.
Why does everyone assume you spent time with family or friends. Why do they assume you attended a church service.
These holidays are man made and the only profit is retail sales with people feeling guilty so they buy gifts.
So as I asked the question “What happen yesterday” I respond with nothing happen it was just another day.
Thanks for following and supporting the blog. Join us on Periscope for #ArtistMotivationalMonday 11am PST.
Well the summer months have arrived and the city festivals have started. Kicking things off is the Cherry Festival Parade which is every year right downtown. It was especially good this year because my grand-daughter was in it with the drill team so you know I was proud.
You have CHP, City Police Dept, City Council, Small Businesses, and yes all the Classic cars auto show. The High School Band, Drill Teams, Queens and Princesses, Classic Fire Trucks and then Summer Time Fun in the park with rides for the kids and plenty of junk foods for young and old.
Yes small town coming together in a community way. Next up is the Lavender Festival………l
Keep following this summer for more fun…..like our page, leave a comment……we are almost at 500 blogs (can you believe that) Wow. We’ll have art projects as well so stay tuned and be sure to stop by our online gallery store where you can pick your art, frame it and have it shipped right to you http://chinue.imagekind.com/Landscapes
Once again we are at the point coming to the end of another year. This year our focus was more studio working hours, more paintings, more exhibits and completing my first Art book. Well we did what we set out to do. All in all it turned out to be a good year for us and it looks like 2015 is going to be an even better year.
We have one exhibit so far in January 2015 and so many ideas as far as more paintings and designs. My sketch book is over flowing with so much for the up coming year.
As we come to the middle of December, and everyone is running around trying to finish up Christmas shopping….lets stay focused on the real meaning of holidays……family, friends and reconnecting to ones inner voice.
We all have the ability to create a better place, as artist we show ours in the form of paintings, photography, drawings, sculpture, singing, movies. Art is our avenue of opening doors to creating more beauty, more inspiring works, more togetherness.
I so enjoy reading and looking at so many of your works of art and you have no idea how you have encouraged me with my own journey of art and for that I say “thank you”.
You can see more of our works at http://chinue.imagekind.com/

” We need to spend our time helping make it easier for the people who are on the front lines of change in our country and in this world” ~Ruby Dee
Her voice was strong and thundered like the roar of a lion yet she moved with grace on the screen and on stage. She gave us true theater artistry. A trail blazer in the performing arts Ruby Dee commanded excellence of herself in her performances.
At 90 she still took command of the big screen and stage. At 91 she took her final bow to us. The arts have a history of its own that we should teach as well as learn whether in Visual, Performance or Theater these trail braziers have left their marks in history. They have passed the torch to us who are coming along now. They have made the path for us.. laid a foundation for us……….. Study their struggles, learn the craft as they did with excellence and leave your mark on history as they have.
Ruby Dee…..RIP and thank you for stopping by and leaving us an example.
Thank you for being apart of my blog works, and my art work. Like us and please leave comments we do read them…………
The challenge to start 2013 is 30 paintings in 30 days. Myself and 155 other artist have challenged ourselves to this. I am in my studio getting ready to start my first painting of the year………wish me luck.
A man got on the bus with a large bag of what everyone thought was dry dog food. Once settled in his seat he stated, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” and then he proceeded to give everyone on the bus two lemons from the large bag we all had perceived to be dry dog food.
This small gesture brought a smile to everyone on the bus. Sometimes the smallest things will make you stop and think just how grand life really is. Today was the last final I had to take and the quarter is now ended until January.
The beginning Photography class went well, there were times I had trouble with the technical aspect of film development but with time It will smooth out. Transition from digital to film is a big adjustment even for me. The 2D Design went well but I don’t think I will be taking anything else in that direction, but the class itself was intense and interesting.
All in all I finished what I started……(Breathing) and even though there were times I felt like I had been handed a lot of lemons, I made my lemonade and continued to the finish line, the end of this quarter.
I’ll be uploading all the photographs I took in week or so after I scan them into my computer. I look forward to sharing them with you.
The picture is just some of the construction going on in the city. This was taken with my digital camera. Please feel free to like us, leave your comments and follow us as we continue this journey of art.
Well I am back taking art classes and I am excited. I will be taking 2D Design and Photography. Photography is also used as Fine Art which is an area I have not explored but am looking forward to learning how it relates to Fine Art. I will be studying black and white photography and developing my own film. So I will have a lot of great things to show you. Visual art is a wide field to explore. 2D Design is the language of visual arts and is in every aspect of marketing. For me this is a new chapter of my Fine Art career. As always your comments and likes are important so please leave them. Be sure to follow us as we start this new chapter in art. You can find more of our work at http://chinue.imagekind.com/
We are now in the count down of the year so I am reflecting on where I am and what I have done so far. As you remember I mentioned that I was doing a painting a day which has become my “Small Art series”. I have been inspired with this because it allows me to start and finish a painting a day. It also allows me to have new works at any given time for any art exhibits I want to be in. I have marked this as not only as a goal completed but a goal that is very successful.
I find taking my digital camera with me everywhere allows me to take those shots that would be lost. Most of the time when you get too close to birds they fly away, but this one just continued to sit and watch me. I would take a step and wait, (he/she) did not move. At first I thought well maybe it could not fly away, but later found it was gone. Guess it just wanted to get in my blog for this month. I am not sure what type of bird it is, but since It was in desert heat it must be strong enough to endure that kind of heat. This is the next painting I am working on as part of the daily painting.
Have a safe 4th of July everyone, remember your pets and fireworks don’t mix. As always comments are important part of our blog so please leave them. Art can be purchased at http://chinue.imagekind.com/. Thanks for following me and for all the Likes.
