Inktober 2017 Day 13 Teeming

This was a real challenge topic so this is what I came  up with.

This is still a work in progress.

Inktober2017 Day 4 Underwater

I’m getting the hang of this, we are on day 4 which is Underwater.  Sometimes the day to day issues can make you feel you are Underwater but always know things that you see are subject to change.

Learning to paint on wood

I bought these boxes to paint on. I’m learning to paint on wood instead of just canvas.  I’m using the Winsor and Newton water mixable oils for this process

You can click on the link to Blick Art Supplies to see all the wonderful colors they come in.   I get all my art supplies from them.

I am really enjoying this learning experience with wood

SKETCHBOOK DRAWINGS WITH PEN – CROSS HATCHING

One of the best times to take your sketchbook with you is when you know you will be waiting for a period of time.   Here are some of my idle time drawings where I did some “Cross Hatching Drawings” with pens.   It really helps the time go by quickly.   These are with the Micron 02 and 05 pens.   You can view more of our works at http://chinue.imagekind.com/Smallartseries,  thanks for following. Be sure to like our page as we continue on our journey of art and leave a comment we really do read them…

The Festivals Have Begun Part 2 – Chalk Art Festival and Classic Cars Show

We spent the day at the Chalk Art Festival and Classic Car Show in Pasadena, Ca (Father’s Day 2015)  I was my first time attending this festival so I was excited and amazed at all the amazing artist that were there creating and sharing their unique style of art. Art comes  in many forms, mediums and creations and I do not think we will ever get to see all of them in one life time.  It was a nice warm day,  people came from near and far for this yearly event. Feel free to leave comments, like our page and please follow us this summer for more festivals………….

Silk Screen Prints on Art Paper

I found some of my silk screen prints that I had done a few years ago.  A simple process using stencils which are handmade, silk screen paint, and my silk screen board which cost under $75 to make using basic wood board, screen, large bolts and hinges.

I learned how to make the board while taking a class and have kept it free from damage. Since I like odd shapes I find Silk Screen Prints away to just be with my art and not be concerned with perfect lines or shapes.

I will be posting more of these small pieces for your viewing.  Let me know what you think, comments are always welcome, they are a learning experience that all artist need……Thanks for following me on my journey of art…….:)
