I’m getting the hang of this, we are on day 4 which is Underwater. Sometimes the day to day issues can make you feel you are Underwater but always know things that you see are subject to change.

One of the best times to take your sketchbook with you is when you know you will be waiting for a period of time. Here are some of my idle time drawings where I did some “Cross Hatching Drawings” with pens. It really helps the time go by quickly. These are with the Micron 02 and 05 pens. You can view more of our works at http://chinue.imagekind.com/Smallartseries, thanks for following. Be sure to like our page as we continue on our journey of art and leave a comment we really do read them…
I heard these birds in a tree and they were really loud and intense. I was a good distance from them but was able to zoom in very well to capture this photo of them there is something about nature that always makes us know life is good no matter what is going on.
I really like how I was able to capture the red on the plant in detail. I recently joined a photography group so I can do more photography this summer.
We spent the day at the Chalk Art Festival and Classic Car Show in Pasadena, Ca (Father’s Day 2015) I was my first time attending this festival so I was excited and amazed at all the amazing artist that were there creating and sharing their unique style of art. Art comes in many forms, mediums and creations and I do not think we will ever get to see all of them in one life time. It was a nice warm day, people came from near and far for this yearly event. Feel free to leave comments, like our page and please follow us this summer for more festivals………….
We are at the fifth day of December, 2013 and some of our profound peacemakers and visionaries have transitioned to their next form of life. They have moved from our visible world to that of the eternal world. They have left us with their life teachings of vision. The first was the Founder of TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) Dr. Paul Crouch. A man who had a vision for twenty-four hour Christian broadcasting world-wide. When no one else was talking or thinking about broadcasting satellite, cable television, Dr. Crouch was seeing how to broadcast christian programing around the world and 40 years later he has finished his journey and has taken his rest from his labor. The next person taught us about having a vision of peace. Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years and yet when released he could not and would not have ill feeling towards those who had held him. He was a man of peace and he lived his life as that example for us. He was the symbol of reconciliation He taught the world, no one is born hating one another but this is learned and we as people can learn to love the same way. Two men, two visions, two leaders who left their mark on society and are in the pages of history for this time and season. RIP dear souls, you have finished your work and left us with the examples….RIP.
Stay tune for the New Year Post January, 2014. Blessing to everyone……..
Being an artist has its upside as well as its downside. The upside as many will agree too is you get to create your world on so many levels. You get to let your imagination run rampant every day. You get to play in the fields of creativity where there are no boundaries except those you place on yourself.
As an artist you get to evolve and reinvent yourself daily. You get to become something different all the while leaving your unique signature on each new creation. An artist can take a blank canvas and with the stroke of a brush tell a complete story as a narrative of art. An artist can tell a narrative with a brush stroke which will touch the viewer on so many levels. The artist who came before us have taught us that a simple stroke of the brush will make a viewer wonder such as with the Mona Lisa is she smiling or not.
An artist as a photographer can take one photo which has frozen time and you see colors and images you would have otherwise missed because you would have passed them by. It is that creative instinct that makes art what it is.
In my observation, I have discovered an artist causes us to stop and notice life in a totally different way. Artist in their own unique expressions freeze time whether through canvas or camera.
The artist in our own way stop for that one split second and notice the shapes of objects, the colors of reds, blues, purples, the dysfunctions of the world, the hurting of people, the joys, the sadness, the sunsets and sun raises. The artist in that one split second notices life in its own unique for of showing up.
