2017 has been a great year, and as we close it out with the last blog of the year we want to thank everyone for their support of this blog. You have followed, you have liked and shared and we are so grateful for your presents.
We are looking forward to what 2018 will manifest.
Last week was the Lavender Festival 2016. It always amazes me all you can do with lavender.
We experienced the taste of lavender ice cream with fresh honey from the bees on the 123farm. There was also lavender wine, beer, and champagne, brisket with lavender sauce. We took a walk through the lavender fields amazed at the beauty of them.
It was a great day.
Today we went to the Cherry Festival Parade in Beaumont,California. Its a yearly event which is community based. We got there towards the end but there were still a lot going on. This kicks off “The Festivals Have Begun.” For the next few months we will be spending time at a lot of festivals. Years before we took pictures and shared with you, now we have live stream to share with you.
We are in June now time to reflect on your first six months of 2016.
Have you kept your promise to you? Have you made some of your goals happen or are you still at the blank canvas with not even one line drawn.
Where are you?

Loving the day spent with a lot of sheep at the Sheep Shearing Event. Learned a lot about the process of shearing, washing the wool, drying it out, dyeing it and spinning the wool. We made a friend of one of the sheep who kept coming back to where we were every time he went away to join the others. The animal kingdom is really amazing.
Here are the sheep after they have been sheared of their wool, it was about 80 degrees today so I know they feel so much better. These would come right up to you so you could pet and feed them. As you can see they were not camera-shy at all.
Do you hear it…..the count down to finish 2015. To step into 2016 with new expectations about what you are doing with your art. To redefine where you are headed with your purpose. To get back on track ….do you hear the count down.
How are you finishing up 2015? Are you finishing up weak or are you finishing up with a blast. Are you excited about what you are going to accomplish to finish out this year of 2015.
After everything you have gone through this year the highs and the lows. The happy times and sad times. The shinning times and times that were dim….how are you going to finish out 2015.
Take the next six days to finish 2015 leaving your foot print as the mark of all the greatness you are….and step into the next chapter of your story full force.
Remember you are the painter of your canvas called your story………how are you finishing the canvas for 2015, because 2016 is a blank canvas……….

Tonight we went to the Winter Fest Tree Lighting Festival. This is the reality that Christmas is just around the corner and 2015 is almost out the door. Where did the year go.
We stayed long enough for the tree lighting and then left because it was cold. They even brought snow in for those who wanted to snow board.
Santa and Mrs Claus were there walking around greeting everyone, they had a group there called Heart and Soul line dancing who performed, there was a choir there singing Christmas Carols, and plenty of food.
All in all it was a good community event.
Be sure to follow us for more festivals, museums, and events. Like our page and leave a comment (we really do read them). Tune into our Periscope Art Scopes where we inspire the emerging artist with tips on Getting Your Work Seen………….
