Today we went to the Cherry Festival Parade in Beaumont,California. Its a yearly event which is community based. We got there towards the end but there were still a lot going on. Loving the day spent with a lot of sheep at the Sheep Shearing Event. Learned a lot about the process of shearing, washing the wool, drying it out, dyeing it and spinning the wool. We made a friend of one of the sheep who kept coming back to where we were every time he went away to join the others. The animal kingdom is really amazing.
Here are the sheep after they have been sheared of their wool, it was about 80 degrees today so I know they feel so much better. These would come right up to you so you could pet and feed them. As you can see they were not camera-shy at all.
