Yesterday I woke up feeling OK but as the day progressed I came to realize how we as humans are programmed and mentally conditioned for these holidays. Even if you chose not to be involved there will always be someone who will wish you a “Happy” what ever the holiday is.
Why does everyone assume you spent time with family or friends. Why do they assume you attended a church service.
These holidays are man made and the only profit is retail sales with people feeling guilty so they buy gifts.
So as I asked the question “What happen yesterday” I respond with nothing happen it was just another day.

Many times as artist we get to the place where we feel stuck and it is at that place of being stuck you start to question whether or not you should even be doing this thing called art as a career or a hobby.
Its doing these lean times of temporary despair that we have to step back and reevaluate what we are doing. Being an artist is not an easy path because it is a creative journey you are on instead of a career path.
Yes you want to make money at this but the real reason you are doing it is for the creative energy it gives you. Your doing it for the love of being able to be creative and also make a profit from it.
There are a lot of artist of all kinds, the arena is full of creative souls trying to find where they fit into this arena of creative oceans. You paint, draw, take photography, create computer art, performance art, and yet you still wonder where you fit into this ocean of art.
The only thing I can tell you is to keep creating and you will find your place. Remember your art is the journey of your soul as it keeps expanding to greater heights alone the way.
