Six Months Into 2018

Well if you’re seeing this we have made it to the halfway mark of 2018.  So my question is “how is your year looking so far”.  We have had plenty of eventful things happen since January some good, some fair and some downright discouraging.  Yet we have made it to the mid-year.

Now that we have all come to this point how are we going to finish out the next six months?  It is clear that we are not allowing the distractions, and detours stop us from moving forward.

So take a moment and breath in this next six months of your journey, and know that you are on the right path even with all the detours.  It’s a journey, not a destination, continue to move forward one paint brush, one camera shot, one dance,  on a completed book at a time because the world is waiting for us and our gifts.

Thank you so much for all who have followed me from day one on this journey, thank you for liking and sharing the post, for coming to the broadcast, and just for being a support factor alone the way.

Feeling Stuck, Asking Yourself Whats Next

Many times as artist we get to the place where we feel stuck and it is at that place of being stuck you start to question whether or not you should even be doing this thing called art as a career or a hobby.

Its doing these lean times of temporary despair that we have to step back and reevaluate what we are doing.  Being an artist is not an easy path because it is a creative journey you are on instead of a career path.

Yes you want to make money at this but the real reason you are doing it is for the creative energy it gives you.  Your doing it for the love of being able to be creative and also make a profit from it.

There are a lot of artist of all kinds, the arena is full of creative souls trying to find where they fit into this arena of creative oceans. You paint, draw, take photography, create computer art, performance art, and yet you still wonder where you fit into this ocean of art.

The only thing I can tell you is to keep creating and you will find your place.  Remember your art is the journey of your soul as it keeps expanding to greater heights alone the way.

You can find more of our work at http://chinue.imagekind.com/store/  also join/follow  us on our Periscope Broadcast for more insight in our journey of art.

Allowing The Great Things To Happen With Your Art

David was already in the marble before Michelangelo started to sculpt the marble.  Pause that thought for a moment and ask yourself are you allowing the greatness of your art to evolve in its own way.

Allowing your art to take on its personality and evolve into the greatness it is called to be is something most do not do.  We try to control the art with perfect lines, perfect color blends and perfect concept when if you all the art to evolve it would become as spectacular as the statue David.

Creating the object whether its painting, sculpture, pottery, or photography is allowing it to become what is already in it.  We are now in the second month of 2016 how are you allowing your art to evolve.

Thanks for following us on this journey of art. Be sure to like our page, and leave comments.
